What is Australia's best workplace?
Macquarie Cloud Services, part of Macquarie Technology Group (ASX: MAQ), has been officially ranked #1 in the small business (30–99 employee) category in the Best Workplaces in Australia 2026 list by Great Place to Work Australia.
This achievement marks the third consecutive year for Macquarie Cloud Services at the top spot, a testament to its enduring culture and efforts in creating a workplace where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work.
This ranking is based on a comprehensive survey of more than 128,000 employees over the past 12 months, which measures workplace culture across five themes – credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie – to evaluate Australian workplace culture.
Employees at the Best Workplaces reported being proud to tell people where they work, intended to stay with their employer long term, and were likely to recommend their employer to friends and family, all at notably higher rates than the Australian average. Pride emerged as the top indicator of long-term retention, ahead of every other factor measured in the survey.
